The latest campaign Ipanema Gisele Bundchen sandals (licenced for her own) will appear on Brazilian television in September and is bound to increase sales of the range which are already at an impressive 20 million pairs per year. The shoot took the theme of Brazilian Indians, from the Xingu tribe, which Gisele has been closely involved with during her Y Ikatu Xingu campaign to ‘Save the Good Water from the Xingu River’. The company that produces her sandals, Grendene, also supports the cause. Posing on the Xingu River for the commercial, directed by Andrucha Waddington, Gisele was dressed like an Indian and painted by the tribeswomen for the shoot.
